I block print with my own original print blocks on cotton and silk fabrics which are then sewn into scarves by me.
All scarves are washable and fabric inks are permanent.
The small edition of silk neck scarves, Tonic of Wilderness, was exciting personal project in 2016. The pattern was first drawn, carved out of lino block by hand and then scanned into computer, where I was able to add colors to pattern (yellow, green, and blue). Next the fabric was digitally printed on silk in three color ways. The final scarves have hand rolled edges (only few available in limited in green and blue color).
