Artist Made Items Enrich Holiday Giving Experience

Artists Sunday, the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov 28th thus year), is dedicated to supporting local artists and recognizing the impact they have in enriching our lives, communities, and the economy. Consumers are encouraged to purchase creative, handcrafted items and artistic experiences for the holidays. Artist Sunday follows Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, prior the Cyber Monday. It is the nation-wide event, participation is free for artists. Learn more about it here.

I have been participating in Artists Sunday since their first year and my Shop Handmade web shop is ready for the 2021 holidays. I offer unique one of a kind hand printed fabric accessories, small original prints, handmade cards, and unique colorful heart ornaments this year. The Shop Handmade has gifts for a nature lover, a child-at-heart and small fabric patches make nice gift tags or stocking stuffers.

Gifting artists made items magnifies the giving-receiving experience many-fold: joy of giving a unique gift while supporting artists living in our communities. I encourage not to wait until November 28 to shop: firstly, postal workers need to deliver many packages at this time of the year and secondly, it'll be less stressful to check off names in the list earlier than later.
