I am offering private art enrichment classes and summer art sessions to small groups at my studio.

 

As a child I attended the Tartu Children Art School (in Estonia) from age 8 to 13, which included lessons in drawing from classic plaster models, watercolor painting from still life and en plein air, sculpture and art history - the focus of those lessons was on practice, practice, practice, which to a child - lets be honest - can get dull. But I had wonderful teachers who were professional artists who chose to teach children about art!

 

The mission of my art-kids studio is to allow children time to create, while introducing them to the basic principles of art  and some art history. Main focus is to teach through observation, dialogue and always tell stories.
